Gower partners with Guernsey Chest & Heart to support health and financial wellbeing

Gower Financial Services has partnered with Guernsey Chest & Heart to help raise awareness of the importance of looking after both your health and your family’s financial wellbeing.

Gower’s Paul McCormick recently met with Guernsey Chest & Heart Chief Executive Officer Caroline Ogier to mark the partnership, which brings together two complementary areas of support for people across the Bailiwick.

Guernsey Chest & Heart provides free cardiovascular health risk detection to residents across the Bailiwick, helping people identify potential health risks at an early stage. Gower provides financial advice and protection solutions designed to help individuals and families prepare financially for the unexpected.

Taking proactive steps to protect your health

Many heart and health conditions can develop without obvious symptoms, making early detection and prevention particularly important.

Guernsey Chest & Heart’s risk detection programme includes simple checks covering atrial fibrillation, blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes – the ABCDs – providing valuable insight into an individual’s heart and general health.

Since opening its Centre in 1974, the charity has focused on preventative healthcare and health promotion across the Bailiwick.
