Gower becomes Rotary Club of Guernsey’s first corporate member

Gower is proud to have become the first ever corporate member of the Rotary Club of Guernsey, creating a new opportunity for our team to give their time to support good causes both in Guernsey and further afield.

Rotary has a long history of bringing people together to make a positive difference through charitable and community projects. By joining as a corporate member, Gower employees will have the opportunity to get involved and donate their time to support the causes that benefit from Rotary’s work.

Rotary Club of Guernsey President Jane Rowe recently visited Gower’s office to formally welcome Gower as the club’s first corporate member and unveil a membership plaque, which is now proudly displayed in our reception.

Jane was joined by fellow Rotary members Chris Roberts and Brian Acton, with Paul McCormick attending on behalf of Gower.

Our team will soon be putting that commitment into action, with Gower volunteers supporting the upcoming Rotary Flag Days on 27 and 28 November.

Paul said:

“Supporting our community has always been important to Gower. Joining Rotary gives our team another way to make a positive contribution by giving our time to support the many worthwhile causes that benefit from its work.

“We’re very proud to be the Rotary Club of Guernsey’s first corporate member and are looking forward to getting involved, starting with volunteering at the Rotary Flag Days in November.”
